Summary

Audio and Recordings

TakeOne asks for microphone access so it can record practice takes, measure calibration clicks, and detect guitar pitch in the tuner.

Practice recordings are stored locally on your device. They leave your device only if you explicitly export or share them using iOS sharing features.

Calibration audio is used locally to estimate latency for the selected output route. It is not uploaded.

Tuner audio is processed locally while the tuner is listening. It is not uploaded.

Local App Data

TakeOne may store the following data locally on your device:

You can delete recordings or app data by using app controls where available or by deleting the app from your device.

Beta Feedback

During TestFlight beta testing, you may choose to send feedback. If you use the in-app Send Feedback button, your email may include diagnostic context such as app version, iOS version, microphone permission status, current audio route status, input and output device names, saved calibration profile count, and saved take count.

This information is included to help debug setup, calibration, recording, playback, export, and tuning issues. Do not include sensitive information in feedback unless you want us to review it.

If you send feedback through TestFlight, Apple may include crash logs, screenshots, and device information according to Apple's TestFlight feedback process.

Children

TakeOne is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app changes. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date.
